Missing third (live) birth, no baptism or burial record (reply)

A search of Glos BMD Indexes produces the following births:

Child Surname Child Forename Father Surname Mother Surname Mother's Former Name Year District Office Register Entry
HILL Alfred HILL HILL HATTON 1904 Forest of Dean Monmouth, Coleford 61 211
HILL Arthur Hartley HILL HILL HATTON 1910 Forest of Dean Monmouth, West Dean 2 360
HILL Ernest William HILL HILL HATTON 1907 Forest of Dean Monmouth, West Dean 1 263

Of the three Alfred is missing from the 1911 Census and a search of FreeBMD produces the following birth and death registration:

Births Dec 1904
HILL Alfred Monmouth 11a 18

Deaths Dec 1904
Hill Alfred 0 Monmouth 11a 10

As said in your note there is no record of a baptism or burial.

Missing third (live) birth, no baptism or burial record

I recently discovered in the 1911 census that my great-grandmother (Louisa [Hatton] Hill) lists three live births to her credit. Only two of these children are listed on 1911 census etc. There no record of a baptism/burial, birth/death record for a third child in that era, which makes me wonder if the baby was actually born live or died very soon afterwards. Any thoughts as to where I can further search for information regarding this event? Thanks for your help!
