"...At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them."

In honor and memory of members of my GRINDLE and HALE families of the Forest....

Sidney SMITH, 9th Battalion, Welsh Regiment. Lost at The Somme, July 7, 1916.
Son of Bertha GRINDLE and James SMITH

William George HALE, Gunner, Royal Garrison Artillery. Died of wounds November 4, 1918.
Son of George HALE and Elizabeth BARNETT

From the United States, I have been deeply moved by the incredible display of over 888,000 ceramic poppies at The Tower of London.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all who have served.
