Finding the name of a property.

I have an interest in a property built in c.1830. I have located it on a map for 1889 at www.old-maps.co.uk

I would like to find the name that was given to the cottage when it was first inhabited.

Please is there anyone who could give me information as to how I could go about this?

I am not expecting anyone to do this for me as the cottage is across the river at Middle Street, Eastington, formally called Muddleshole. This is not quite Forest of Dean territory!

Thank you in anticipation.

Just to say, once again, a big thank you to all those hard working folks transposing the F.o.D. Parish Registers.
