If you read Marilyn's reply again I think you will find that she has given you Hubert's parents - George Smedley and Caroline Griffiths. Census also states Hubert was born in Yorkley, FoD.

Looking for Hubert Smedley. The only thing I can find on him was that he was born in "N K" in the Forest of Dean. I know he was born in 1860 and was in Yorkshire by the time the 1901 census came out. Any ideas or leads I can try? Thanks ev1!!!!
