St John ( the Evangelist) is the Anglican Church at the Stockwell Green end of Church Road , The Baptist Chapel is at the Triangle ( Commercial St) end of Church Road.

Both have their own graveyards, the Baptist chapel's being smaller than St John's.

< many Grindle's are buried in St Johns >

Thank you for that.... Ive found a Rev G Willstead and a Rose Margaret Willstead and other Willsteads, my grandmother was a Willstead b Cinderford, these may be her cousins and aunt.

Secretary, in 1907, and published then in the magazine.
