1901 Census

I can find a Tom Hedley Adams bc1880 Berry Hill in the Rhondda with wife Sarah bc1880 Bristol and daughter Miriam Florence b1900 Tonypandy, Glamorganshire, Wales.

1911 Census

Tom, Sarah, Miriam, Grace and William Hedley still in Tonypandy.

Wife Sarah died just after the 1911 Census and Tom married Kate Webb in 1914 Monmouth District. Transcription from FoD site.

...and from http://ww3.gloucestershire.gov.uk/bmd/MarriageSearch.aspx Herbert is Herbert Gwynn (nice Welsh name!) They married in the Register Office in the Forest of Dean District.

They may have lived in the Swindon area (Wiltshire) after the war. There is a birth for an Elizabeth M using same parents surnames in 1947, but could be a different couple.

You would need to invest in copies of the Marriage and Birth Certificates to confirm it is the right Herbert and correct children.

Herbert G. ADAMS, birth registered Q2 1915 Pontypridd. Mother’s maiden name WEBB.

From Glos BMD:-

Herbert Gwynn ADAMS married Gladys May BULLIMORE, Forest of Dean District, Monmouth Parish, Register Office, 1936. (Q2 from Genes Reunited).

From Genes Reunited:-

Joyce M. ADAMS birth registered Q2 1938 Forest of Dean District. Mother’s maiden name BULLIMORE.

Elizabeth M ADAMS, birth registered Q4 1947 Swindon District, Mother’s maiden name BULLIMORE.

Herbert Gwyn ADAMS death registered Q4 1986 Swindon District, Aged 71, birth 31/03/1915.

There is a possible second marriage:-

Herbert G. ADAMS married Winifred M. MILES (or RUMMING) Q4 1951 Swindon District.

Ok William Hedley Adams lived in Berry Hill with his Father Tom and Williams Half Brother Herbert, Sisters Grace and Miriam in their earlier years.
In the 1900's William Migrated to Australia This I have proof of.
I have no clue as to what Happened to Herbert! Whether he had Children, got Married etc.
William and His wife Lotitia lived in Queensland Australia and Died in Caboolture North of Brisbane, They are buried in Caboolture Cemetary and Lived the life of Christian with "The Salvation Army".
MY Father Gordon Lloyd Adams was Williams Direct Son, and I would like to know about Herbert for our Family Tree so my Daughters know Who their ancestors are and Where they came From.

eg when and where did William Hedley Adams live ?. How does Herbert come in to the situation ?. I've searched several sites including the PRs on this site and cannot find William at all !?

In the Photo Gallery there are pictures of this family (under Berry Hill) sent in my Miriam Lehmann

By Googling William Hedley Adams - can get 40 pictures of the Adams including William with family members before going to Australia - but somewhere only two pages by going through photo gallery !
