<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Private 204073 Gilbert James Wooles 2/5th Battalion (Territorial) Gloucestershire Regiment KIA Sunday, 31st March, 1918. Buried Ham British Cemetery, Muille Gillette, grave number 4 plot 2 row D. He was originally buried in a smaller cemetery and then reinterred in Ham.</p>
<p>Gilbert James Wooles was born in 1885 at the Greyhound Inn, Lydney to Allen and Ann Wooles. He was a plasterer upon his marriage to Ada Agnes Jones whose father was the Innkeeper of the Rifleman's Arms, Lydney. Gilbert then became Landlord before entering the War. He had one child.</p>
