Richard JAMES, Newland or Bream Parish (reply)

The GFHS Burial Index mainly covers 1813-1837 and Richard is therefore not listed. The following entry appears for a Sarah JAMES:
Date: 13 JAN 1820
First Name: SARAH
Surname: JAMES
Age: 95
Burial Register: LYDNEY 1813-1827
Place of Abode: FOREST OF DEAN

If this is the wife of Richard then a search of Lydney Registers would seem appropriate.

Richard JAMES, Newland or Bream Parish (reply)

Hi Terry,

The nearest I've found on the IGI for Jemme James is a James James christened Newland 15-7-1751 parents William and Elizabeth. The LDS/IGI isnt complete.

I'm a bit clueless about looking through parish records, I tend to get my info off the internet, so perhaps theres someone out there who could do a look up for you.
