This particular Elizabeth Pearce - granddaughter to George of Whitecroft, was the illegitimate daughter of Martha Pearce and Charles Jenkins. She had some sort of learning difficulties and never married.

Hello .What a surprise to find your posting today .
I,m not sure if the Elizabeth (Bess) is the one I'm looking for (Yes ,no further forward I'm afraid with her ) . I can't recall my late husband referring to his grandmother as Bess though ,neither did he know of any siblings. My inlaws didn't mention any .However ,he was 11 when she died . Unfortunately ,his brother has also passed away so no one in the family left .
Do you know of her history other than who her parents and siblings were ? If you know she's not 'my' Elizabeth ,then at least I will know not to follow this line .

Elizabeth known in the family as Bessie was the daughter of Martha Pearce and Charles Jenkins before they married. They went on to have another two daughters, Alice and Isabella.

HELLO.
I have just started to research my husbands grandmother family history.
name ELISABETH PEARCE
D.O.B. 1873 or thereabousts
Fathers name CHARLES PEARCE.(AGRI.WORKER)
Place of Birth CIRENCESTER or surrounding area.
Elisabeth married a man by the surname of SARGEANT.
He died a hero in KHARTOUM so I was told by my late father in law.
In 1912 Elisabeth married my husbands grandfather a HARRY HOLLETT.in a
little valley town of PONTYCYMER in south Wales. She apparently came to "
KEEP HOUSE"for him and then later married him when she was 39.
She died in 1951 in Pontycymer .
If anyone have any connection or info on the people mentioned I would be
very grateful.
