I'm looking for any information on where Nimrod was born and his activities until he joined the army. He eventually lost his life in Italy on the 7th Oct 1944, where he is buried in a commonwealth war cemetery in Faenza.

He was the son of Frank and Clara Stephens (High Beech). He has a baptism entry in the Parish records on this site.

He joined the 2nd Battalion, Coldstream Guards and died at the age of 20 or 21.

Any information to further my quest to find out more of this distant relative would be greatly appreciated.

My Mum's family are all from the FOD and lived around Joys Green, where I used to spend many happy holidays with my Nan...!!
