Hello there im just researching the Mason family myself and am on the forum at the mo one of the 6 children was a Ellen Mason my great grandmother Florence Evelyn Masons Mother she married a Edward John Jones in 1909 in Pontypool and moved to Abertillery which was the Monmouthshire

Joseph was born after Thomas's death; he was Zilpah's child, not necessarily - or even not possibly - Thomas's!

Thank you - the only problem with the death date is that he dies 2 to 3 years before birth of last child, Joseph, b c 1841, which may be the case(!) - I am going to area in April to see if can find any evidence to support either way .... birth/christening is the only one I've found so far but again need to try and link in/cross-reference if poss. many thanks for help

I have been researching the Masons from Ruardean area - following son of Noah, Joseph b 1871, who moves with Noah and Jacob at least to Abertillery. Also found Noah's father Thomas Mason who married Zilpah (sometimes in census as Lilpah) Chivers 2 Feb 1828 in Hope Mansell. Can find lots about Zilpah inc second husband and relatives on her mother's side, but cannot find anymore about Thomas Mason.
For children of Noah and Charlotte, I also have an Ellen b 1871 and an Annie b 1876 to add to list on previous email, plus Joseph b 1871. Noah also had a brother called Jothan b 1831, sisters Ann (b 1830) and Amelia (b 1835) - Amelia is name of Zilpah Chivers' mother (Amealia Baldwin b 1786) who marries Joseph Chivers .
I have Joseph Mason's family and their descendants to present day (tree is on ancestry site) - hope this is useful. Any info re Thomas Mason would be great but I think he died prior to 1841 census and not on lds website or parish records.

I have a sneaking suspicion that these Mason's moved to Bedwelty.

On FreeBMD there is a marriage Sept 1909 for Sydney Albert Mason at Bedwelty.

There is also a marriage for Frank Mason & Sarah M Day June 1918 at Bedwelty.

Would someone like to oblige with a Census look-up pretty please?

I am interested in find some info on the family of Noah MASON & Charlotte BARNARD. They were married 1860 in Mitcheldean. In 1881, they were in Ruardean with 6 children. I found that sons Jacob & Thomas were married in the 1880's. Would anyone know who their children might be?
