Hi

Can anyone shed any light on why I can't seem to find my ancestors marriage. It was for an Oliver Phelps to a Martha Ann Jones in 1878 . I have it on good information that it happened in Monmouth, Gloucestershire. They both born in and lived in Lydbrook, Gloucestershire. I know there are some issues with the registration district for these areas as they are close to border with Wales.

Any help locating it would be great.
