Dont be too disappointed if not - in my family the first headstones that I have seen are only from the mid 1930's. I know from oral history roughly where in certain graveyards "some" are laid to rest, and they are unmarked / no stone work graves..

However they still existed - census, BMD, inquests, newspaper articles - and are still very "real" to me :-)
