Could anyone give me some pointers about how I might find out if a Mark Smith commemorated on the war memorial in Coleford Town centre (on the clock tower) is my great uncle? He died during WW2. I don't know which regiment he served in and I don't know who to contact to find out more detail about the inscriptions on the memorial. Any advice you could give would be much appreciated.
