I spotted John halford jenkins but wondered why the middle name didn't crop up again in the census etc.
Also I would expect a Nancy in the family of John and Ann if his mother was Nancy.
The 2 John jenkins baptised at Newland (residence Berry Hill) were the most likely, I thought. But proof will be difficult.
