The Phipps and Kear families are so intertwined its difficult to sort them all out.

Charlotte Kear's parents were Enoch Kear (1800-1857) and Mary Baldwin b. abt 1804. Enoch's parents were Enoch Kear (1771-1845) and Hannah Hawkins (1775-1848)

I've come across 2 Griffiths while researching my Phipps family.

1. Mary Griffiths (1867-1944) who married Thomas Phipps (1860-1922) Thomas was brother to Frances.

2. John Griffiths (b. abt 1817-1900) who married Hephzibah Hook b. 1820. Hephzibar Hook was the daughter of George Hook (abt. 1797-1825) and another Charlotte Kear (!) This Charlotte (1798-1885) was sister to Enoch Kear b. 1800 and so auntie to the first Charlotte.

I've only come across one Stephens and that is Sarah (abt. 1791-1855) who married Thomas Phipps (1791-1871) This Thomas was the son of Thomas Phipps b. abt 1764 and Eleanor Taylor who are a bit distant from my direct Phipps.
