Hello and thanks again for your response. I suspected Sarah's baptism would be entered under another name. However, as Thomas and Esther's Sarah died in 1847 she is not the Sarah who married Moses Hawkins in 1856 - although his Sarah was also from Newland and of the same age. Whenever I try to unravel the Burghum family I end up with clashing temples!
