That fits in perfectly with the copy of the marriage certificate. The groom lived in Cheltenham, according to the censuses, and that's where they settled down before moving on to Burton-on-Trent, and finally Newark. But as for Amanda Annie - who were her family? Can they really have eradicated her from all records?
