Having the same surname Colin and I spent some time and correspondence trying to establish a family connection. Unfortunately, we were not successful. Norah Bessie & I share the same ancestors, there is also another "Griffiths" in my tree, I have Martha Scrivens B1865 marrying Philip Griffiths B1866.

One of my greatest difficulties is photographs, I have photos to my own grandfather & nothing past him. I would be gratreful if youeself or any other members could provide me with photos of any of the Scriven/Scrivens family.

Thank you for replying, I was hoping to find a scriven or scrivens that could help me with my research, I have been working on my family tre for some time & have marriage connections to the Wiggall family, Partridge family, Talbot family & Owens all residing in & around the Forest of Dean area.

Many have emigrated to South Afrca, Australia & the USA

Do you know if Maurice Scrivens is the only member to have this name ?
