Hello again, Robert's place of birth is named as 'Monmouth St John' on the Chelsea Pensioner record for him. I think the Robert you have found is possibly a different one, given the different descriptions eg. height and occupation. He settled in Brecon as a nail maker/ironmonger, which is why I believe I have the correct CP record. Brother Stephen's place of birth is just given as Monmouth on his CP records.
