The IGI at familysearch.org has a William Gough b. abt. 1510 Woolaston - Father also William Gough. There is also a spouse under the name of Mrs. William Gough (!) b. abt. 1512 Wibden, Tidenham.

William Gough b. abt. 1530 Woolaston has been transcribed as Willim Gophe b. abt. 1530 Gloucestershire.

There are 8 Gough/Gophe on the IGI with the c. date between 1525 and 1565 with father as William Gough/Willim Gophe. Take a look for yourself, you never know there might be some more info on your family.
