But "my" James and Richard Hawkins are two of nine children born to Thomas and Elizabeth (nee' Stephens)Hawkins. Now, if you "really want to dazzle me".......who were Thomas and Elizabeth's fathers? My best guess would be .....(Thomas)..Thomas Hawkins b. 1737 wife Eliz.....and (Elizabeth Stephens b. 1771)...Benjamin Stephens and Ann Roberts, all of West Dean.

Both families had children & grandchildren who emigrated to U.S., fifty years apart!!!! Guess what? Children married in W.V. ....and I'm their grand-daughter!!!!!

I LOVE FORESTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! really!!!
