Looked on the census page on Ancestry and none of the above appear on the actual transcription page. Also can't find any trace of a Mary A J Morse on the parish records, subsequent censuses or bmd's. Any suggestions?

there is an issue with Ancestry's index , when you bring up the image, go back a couple of pages and you should find it ( unless it is at the very start of the census book :-( in this case image 3 of 21 )

Matilda Morse (nee Phipps) was the widow of Frederick Morse at the time of the census. Her youngest child George King Bailey Morse was born soon after his father's death. I am wondering who Mary A J Morse is, it seems unlikely that as the census states her daughter as Matilda would have been about 48 when she was born and had been a widow since 1878. Couldn't have been her granddaughter either as George is only thirteen and her only other son John William was only fifteen when he died.
