Would be interested if anyone can shed some light on my gt grandfather Silas Phelps. I have been researching my family connections in the forest for sometime but, I always end up with the same information regarding Silas(1860/1), Son of John Phelps (1841) and Charlotte Brain(1841) I can only find all 3 on one census 1861, 1871 and 1881 he's living with Charlotte's parents and 1891 living with his wife Margaret and Mary and 1901 with his family which includes my grandmother Annie.

My questions are was he an only child and what happened to John & Charlotte?
Would appreciate any help anyone can offer.
