Dear Listers

It is with great sadness that I report the death of a very dear e mail
friend and lister.

You may know of her as eandka/pandobear/Jojo or several other akas.

It has taken me some time to find this out as she stopped mailing me in June
2006 after telling me it was thought she had had a stroke and I didn't want
to trouble her whilst she was unwell.

She and I were great friends via e mail so I never had her personal address
which is why it has taken me so long to establish what has happened. If
someone has it, I would be grateful to have a copy off list.

Those of you who knew her will, I am certain, join with me in thinking of
her this evening.

CUNLIFFE, Esther Katherine On August 13, 2006, Mrs. Esther Katherine Cunliffe of Edmonton passed away at the age of 65 years. She leaves to mourn her loss her loving husband Peter. This site and the IGI also mention the BRIGHT children: Mary, Sarah DUFFIELD (my 4th g gm), Samuel, Elizabeth, Thomas, Anne/Hannah, and Esther born between 1760 and 1773 in Longhope (first two) and Taynton.

The IGI mentions a James MOTTLEY (with father James) chr.Nov. 14, 1725 at Littledean, who could be a brother of Sarah's.

Hopefully, the BRIGHT and MOTTLEY wills I will be ordering from the Gls. RO http://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/index.cfm?articleid=1335
will give me more info, but in the meantime, does anyone have any knowledge of either the BRIGHT or the MOTTLEY families? Would love to hear from you. Eandka
