Hodges Dymock

I have got most of my Hodges family in Dymock back to the baptism of Wyllyam Hodges on 17/3/1544 to Jhon(sic)Hodges and Ales and forward to the 1850's when my ancestor William Hodges left and moved to Stoke Lacy Herefordshire.

However, I am stuck on one marriage. That of John Hodges (who was a blacksmith in Dymock) to a lady called Hannah. This would be c1830 as their first child was bapt August 1831 in Dymock. There is a record on the IGI that their marriage took place in Dymock, but this was submitted by an LDS member and there is no such marriage (that I can find) in the Dymock records.

His father was also a blacksmith and 1841 census has his father (also John Hodges m Mary Cooper in Dymock) in Kempley and John in Dymock at Gibbutt's End.

The only reference I have found is one of a John Hodges marrying a Hannah Burrup in Gloucester in 1830. These 2 people were both of St Catherines Gloucester. So I don't know if it could be my two.(there is a Hannah Burrup bapt in Dymock in June 1809)

Can anyone help me with this marriage of John Hodges and Hannah (surname unknown)c1830.

Sian
