Thanks for your information but at the moment I can not make any connection to the family I am searching. Although, there is still a possibility as I have a few searches to persue.
Do you know who the father of Thomas Adams(1831)was. This would help me make a connection with my family tree.

Hi.
I don't know if this info is any interest to you. My Grandmother's name was Florence Adams, she was born in The Forest of Dean around 1890 (I think). I believe her father became some influential figure in that area, maybe the Mayor. She married Albert, the eldest son of a wealthy family, (the Elliott's of Nantwich),who promptly disinherited Albert for marrying 'beneath him.' Florence and Albert moved to Bridgend in South Wales,with their son, my father, Herbert Edwin. Sadly, the marriage was a disaster, Albert became an alcoholic and ended up committing suicide when my father was 11.
I do sometimes wonder what happened to my Forest of Dean relatives

I am searching the Adams family which has taken me to the Yorkley, Milkwall, Moseley Green areas. After searching relevant census I have found that James & Mary Adams (approx 1791) are the parents of Hannah, Benjamin, James and Stephen. I have made a search of the parish records and was about to link James & Mary with James Harris Adams and Mary nee Stephens, but after looking through the forum I have found that James Harris Adams and Mary nee Stephens had a daughter Elizabeth. Please could anyone tell me if Hannah, Benjamin and James Adams had a sister Elizabeth so that I could link this family together.
