Have you searched the Newland Church Records on this site? If you follow the gravestone inscriptions back you will see that Jarret becomes Jerrit the further back you go.I think this is the same family, so it may show a marriage between an Ellsmore and Jerrit to help your research.

Trying to find who Elizabeth ELSMORE or ELLSMORE's parents were.
Have her born about 1760, Newland, Gloucestershire, England
md to Howell JARRET or JARRETT 18 August 1777 Newland, Gloucestershire, England.
