It odd, because it all corresponds doesn't it, but the information we have in our family is Thomas was born in Weston, Avon. Also we had not heard of a child Elizabeth born to them, their first born was Beatrice, Born 1881. I wonder if Elizabeth died. Unfortunately my gran is no longer with us so I cant clarify any of this with her, but she had left us quite a lot of family history stuff, but this doesn't all tie in.

I'll see what I can find out.

Elizabeth C CLARK - 2 months, born Glos. Horfield

Horfield BARRACKS is also on census

No children of Thomas & Alice (on later census) are listed as being born in the FOD

I know that there are definitely FOD connections with the Clark family somehow, they were my gran's family. Thomas Clark was born in Weston, Avon. In the 1800s I think the borders meant it was part of Gloucestershire. I know there was definitely a gypsy connection to the family, I have a photo of Thomas and one of his brothers. Gran said the family ended up living on Mitcham common, I don't know how or why this happened though.

Thomas CLARKE's wife Alice MORGAN was born in Thornbury, Gloucestershire. No FOD connections according to the various 'trees' on Ancestry.
