Sorry cant be much help. I can confirm james b 1877 is son of Richard and Harriet Turley and that richard was son of John and Harriet Bridges but I have nothing on any siblings of james

I believe my gggg-grandparents are John Slayden/Harriott Bridges through to their son Richard (b.1844, East Dean) through his son James Slayden who married Alice Ensor and had my grandfather Reginald Slayden. Can you confirm this is the correct linage as I only found William & John as siblings of James in my search.

I know Alice Slayden nee:Ensor lived with James Slayden in Two Bridges in the early 1900s & Harriot Slayden was her neighbour.

I can confirm this. My grandfather was Thomas Richard Sladen Ivy's elder brother. I have the same direct line as you. John and Harriet are my 3xG grand parents. Let me know if you want any more detail

Re Jane Sladen - married William Walters , 1881 living in district of Aston. In my research on Sladen family tree discover John & Harriet Sladen also living in this area 1881 - ( census return shows at Cromwell St,Nechells. I think they are Jane's parents. Fanny & Richard Sladen - siblings also at that address. 1891 Harriet & children back in Forest. Presume John died. Do you know when / where from info you have on Jane ? I am presuming he died up in Aston area and that is why others in the family moved back to the forest.Regards

I believe my ggg grandparents were John Slayden / Harriet Bridges , tracing the line down through his son Richard / wife also Harriet , who lived in Two Bridges and on through Richards son Thomas John who lived in Soudley. My paternal grandmother was Thomas John's daughter Ivy Laura who married Albert Adams.
Can anyone else confirm this information through links with their family tree.

Hi folks, I'm at a complete full stop with my Sladen/Walters connection.

I need to find the marriage between Jane Sladen born in Blakeney (other Sladen's in her line are from Awre & Lydney) who married a William Walters (occupation Stout Bottle Packer/Cooper) possibly in Blakeney or surrounding areas.

Their first child was William Walters born in Blakeney around 1875. I cannot find any record of the family until the 1891 census.

If anyone can can help locate the birth of William Walters 1875 or the marriage of William & Jane I'd be extremely grateful.
