Again, thanks for this information.
It was interesting how the Cheltenham connection arose, but we presume it was because Jane came from there.
So many William Cubitt's in the family tree, which again we know why they were named, their occupations being interesting.
Who we refer to as WC3, great grandad ended up here as licencee at the Nottingham Arms in Tewkesbury, where both he and my grandad passed away, my grandad passing away before him.
Rumour is that he haunts the pub!

It would just have been nice to find the actual place of birth/property that great grandad was born in.

Broadmead Terrace Ross on Wye.

We are tracing our family and are trying to find the birthplace of great grandfather, William Cubitt Treen.
We know that his father, another William Cubitt was lodging at 121, Broadmead Terrace in Ross on the 1861 census, but would like to confirm if our William Cubitt, and possibly his sisters Ella and Florence were born there.
Looking at Google map, Broadmead Terrace no longer exists. Investigations show it is now the site of Morrisons.
Can anyone please give any information on Broadmead Terrace, also if so, were there that many buildings to accommodate 121, or was this maybe an entry error, and should possibly have been 12?
