This weekend's BBC tv Countryfile is from the Forest !

This Sunday 20th October the Forest of Dean will be dominating the BBC Countryfile tv programme.

"This week Countryfile is in the Forest of Dean. Matt Baker hunts for the elusive adder and finds out about a project in the forest that is teaching locals heritage crafts. Margherita Taylor meets the brass band making a big noise in the area, and she also explores the extraordinary Puzzlewood to discover how a landscape like this is protected."

etc etc. See this link for more detailed info, and for BBCiPlayer.

PS I do hope this time any mention of the wild boardozers is a little more balanced than previous BBC coverage, they're not everyone's idea of perfect neighbours.
