I have been unable to find any further mention of Samuel in your database. The Herefordshire Bishop's Transcripts, 1538- 1898 (Family Search)show Samuell Howells marrying Mary Perry in Shobdon, Herefordshire 28 May 1764. They had a number of children there. One well-researched Ancestry family tree links this family to the Walford ones but I am not sure. I wonder if any of you have researched this family and know if it would be likely the Samuel is one and the same. Thank you from New Zealand.
