Sorry that you had problems with the Contact Form. I have tested it and it works OK and others have used it successfully.

The important thing is the entry in the database has been updated.

I tried to put the following on the general form as requested but it would not accept the Captcha code, no matter how many times I tried it. (I tried changing it too, to no avail).

Charles J Rook and his wife, Ann Mary Rook emigrated to the USA (Poughkeepsie, New York) on The Cosmo, sailing from Bristol to New York. Arrived at New York 24th May 1848.
(Note Ann Mary returned to England for a short holiday with her son, Charles Joseph, after the death of her husband but I do not have the outward or inward ship details or departure dates. I am raising this in case someone comes up with it. The return trip was likely to have been in the mid-late 1850s, certainly after 1854 and before 1866, but not in 1858 as previously thought. I have documentary proof of it but not the date. The 1868 visit was of Ann's nephew and her sister-in-law who had also emigrated to the USA.

I put some details of a member of my family on your emigration list a while ago (Charles J Rook and his wife Ann Mary nee Addams) and I have noticed that at the time I didn't know which ship they set sail on. I need to update it as I have the details but don't know how to do it. When I find it in the search engine there seems to be no way to update it. Please tell me how to go about it. Thanks.
