It would appear to be. This entry from IGI:
31 March 1823 Naomi HOLDER baptised at Owlpen. Parents James HOLDER and Ann

From GFHS Marriage Index:
23 December 1807 James HOLDER married Ann BURFORD by Licence at Owlpen

The IGI suggests that John NELMS married on 25 March 1846 at Berkeley.

You might be lucky and find a funeral report listing family mourners etc. which will probably also show which church or chapel the funeral was held at, published in the Dean Forest Guardian. There are some archives for this paper at Cinderford Library and some dates are still held at the offices of The Forester in High Street Cinderford.

John DAVIES married Gertrude Mary ROGERS - Monmouth District September 1905.

From this information you can send for the Marriage Certificate.

I'll check the 1901 census for you.

Have been trying to locate above in parish records without success.He was my grandfather and died in Tufthorn Avenue in May 1941 aged 61 years.His wife was Gertrude Mary Davies but she died in 1971.

Any suggestions please?
