Thank you for your input. It has certainly given me lots to take in and think about. All I have been aware of previously was the marriage of Richard Haynes to Esther Childe, which is the line I am descended from.

I think this confirms the STONE/HAYNES link, at Richard STONE is living next door to Richard HAYNES 1841 census
