If it’s of interest these seem to be the announcements of their Golden Wedding and Mary Ann’s death,

At St. Mary's Church. Ross-on-Wye, March 8th, 1885, George Sidney Bird to Mary Ann Goode.

Gloucester Citizen - Monday 12 April 1943
DEATHS
BlRD—April 9th. Wells Way, 23. Colin Road, Barnwood, Mary Ann. dearly loved wife of George Sidney Bird, aged 80. Funeral Tuesday, 2.30, at Barnwood Church.

I have now got someway into the Bird Ancestry:

I have a George Sidney Bird (1857 - XXXX)

He married Mary Ann Goode in Ross on 8 Mar 1885.

They had 8 Children:

Albert George b.1886
Hubert Humphry b.1888
Ethel Elizabeth b.1890
Edith Annie b.1892 d.1896
Ada Emily b. 1894
Charles Henry b.1898
Florence Mary b.1900
Dorris May b.1903

In the 1911 Census it states that they had 8 Children of which one had died.

This one is apparently Edith Annie (1892 - 1896)

Not sure yet but will respond as soon as I work it out. Only just found this site and have extended my BIRD branch a great deal but as yet have not deciphered it all.
