Could there also be records in the Parish Chests of bastardy bonds - that fathers would
pay for the support of their offspring?

I am looking for the father of William Taylor son of Sarah Ann Lewis, Single woman.
The baptism date is listed as Feb. 9, 1879.

The assumption is that the father's name would also be William Taylor and I am
currently researching possible men in the village and surrounding area (ie St. Briavels Common, Hudnalls)

Are the Quartly Sessions and Bastardy Bonds available for viewing at the Gloucester Record Office?
