Hi, perhaps we are able to help in your research about the Walford clan. My wife was born a Walford in Drybrook in 1945. Martha Walford b 1812 in Old Swinford, Worcestershire was her 3rd great grand mother.

Walford, Thomas, Martha and Albert

As can be seen by previous messages I have posted, I am looking for a family which contained Thomas and Martha Walford (as husband and wife) and Albert who was their son.
I have now found death registrations for a Martha Walford from the Free BMD pages - she died aged 67 in 1878, so would have been born about 1811. I have also found a death registration for a Thomas Walford in 1862 - no age given. Both of these registrations were in the Westbury district.
There was also death registrations for both a Martha and Thomas Walford in Cleobury Mortimer, and a Thomas Walford death in Evesham.
As Albert Walford was born in Lydbrook, I would be inclined to think the Westbury ones are the ones I am seeking, but would like some support in this before I go ahead and order certificates.
I have yet to discover if Alfred had any siblings, so any information would be appreciated.
If there is anyone out there with connections to this family I would love to hear from them.
