Alice Exton was 28 at her marriage Dec 1903, thus born 1875.
Her father Arthur born 1840's - 1850's .........
My father always believed Alice came from Berkshire but all searches have not proved fruitful.
Alice's husband's first wife came from Berkshire I believe so info may have got mixed up.
At her marriage in 1903 marriage certificate shows father as deceased.
Have looked into Exton from Herefordshire / possibly Wales as an aunt has said that she thinks Nellie lived in Wales at some time.

Have sent for marriage certificate and now have details for Alice Exton, her age and father's name, Arthur,and occupation, gardener. Still have no positive traces through the census returns but am not giving up. I am told she also had a sister Nellie so will have to do more searches and corss referencing but thanks for help so far.
The Parish records have meant I could cross reference names of witnesses. I beleive these are not relatives but neighbours or a workmate but these records have helped quite a lot so far in cross referencing some other family details and also helped me to make more positive indentications within the family tree.

Yes , sounds obvious I know. Marriage certificate will give me some info on parents as I cannot trace Alice Exton any further than this point. Would also like to see parish records as will give more info on father and occupation and also witnesses which may give me some links too.
