Thank you Bertha, I found those too, that's how I found the marriage for Hodevia,(after believing for a long time she had died as a child). as she was married in the same area and another sister Amelia married there too. Seems to be a popular area for the girls in this family.
It makes me feel sad that Lucretia died quite young after having all her children.

Thank you both for your replies.
I am hoping I will find the baptisms for Hodevia and Francis on this site.
I have found Hannah and William had two more children, Charles and Martha, these two are a mystery too, so maybe this site will help me with these also.
Lucretia gave birth to my husband's grandfather Ernest Henry in 1877 in Westbury on Severn Workhouse, he was brought up by his grandparents and Lucretia went to Manchester to service, I don't know if they ever met again.
My husband and I went to Gloucester Records Office last year to find out from the workhouse records why Lucretia was there, but unfortunately, the records for this time did not exist, so we have hit quite a few brick walls with this family.
We believe she may have been in the workhouse because she was pregnant and not married, as her family lived and worked in the home of a very well known family in that time.

Thank you Slowhands, got most of that info, but failed to find Hannah and William on 1841 census, so very grateful for that.
One thing that I cannot do and that is find a birth registration for Francis and Hodevia.
I have found Hodevia married in Manchester years later, but have not found anything for Francis, not even sure if he died young.
I have tried at the Cinderford Register Office and they couldn't find anything either, any ideas please?

I am researching my Dyer Family who came from the Forest of Dean.
Some stayed and some came to South Wales.
The parents were Hannah and William, they had many children, one of which was Lucretia, who was my husband's Great Grandmother.
At one point they lived in a house known as The Grange/Grange House in Flaxley.
William was a carpenter.
I am looking for anyone who may be related to the family.
