Father was Thomas Haggar born Barkway, Hertfordshire and mother Emma Smith born Coleford, Gloucestershire. The certificate should have read Emily Ruth Haggar- female, but instead it is for a Henry Ruth Haggar - male.

Emma born 1853 is daughter of Elisha Smith & Eliza Teague of Lane End.

It just goes to show accents play a very important role, in our family history, so all those lost Henry or Emily ancestors, there is hope.
