Hi S,
I'll be VERY happy to be proved wrong, but I wonder if Raxchel will see your message, at least in good time, as it's over 2 years since she last logged into this forum ?. That said, her username above her posts shows she is still "active" (it's displayed in blue not black), so hopefully she is still occasionally checking the forum.
My best advice to you is to also click onto her username/envelope icon, this is how I saw how often she visits the forum. This also lets you send an email directly into her computer's inbox via her file email address, she's perhaps more likely to see that than seeing your post on the forum. It's also confidential in case you wish to exchange personal contact details etc that's safer left off the public forum.

Jeremiah Goode was my great great great great grandfather. b.1781 d.1st May 1866 in Abenhall.

His mother was Martha Jones b.1741 Mitcheldean and d.1836 Mitcheldean.
Father was Samuel Goode b.1737 Mitcheldean d.1832 Mitcheldean

Samuel Goode's father was John Goode b. abt 1704

John Goode's father was Thomas Goode and mother Mary Hill. They married in Mitcheldean 4 Feb 1701.

I am seeking any information available on my Ancestor Jeremiah Goode, I have his Mother's name as Elizabeth (no Surname no other information on her or a husband)? 1781 is an approximate date of birth in England? He married Hannah James in 1802 in Ross Herefordshire, & died 1.5.1866 in Abbenhall Gloucestershire, children of the marriage were William 1803-1847, Thomas 1805-1867, Joseph 1809-1889, George 1812-1855, Mary 1817-1818. Would particularly like to have the names of his parents.

Record submitted after 1991 by a member of the LDS Church. No additional information is available. Ancestral File may list the same family and the submitter.

As this entry was submitted then Shirley is correct in checking the entry.

There is another entry suggesting the marriage took place in 1804 at Ruardean but this is not listed in the Parish Registers.

The 1851 Census gives Hannah's (Ann's) place of birth as Ross on Wye.

I don't know if I am doing something wrong in the way I search but I have tried looking up his marriage with no luck, and have put Hannah in still no luck. There were 17 Hannah James but none in 1802. I will leave it for tonight try again tomorrow, thanks for your help

I would appreciate any help to find the names of Jeremiah Goode's parents (Mother possibly Elizabeth) and where he was born(possibly Abinghall Gloucester) I think it was around 1781, he married Hannah James in 1802 and died on 5th May 1866, I am not sure where to look or what to look for, Hope someone can help me.
