My grandfather's family bible has two entries on the "Deaths" page which give no information as to a possible (and I think probable) family relationship. The entries are:
Nell BEDIS (died) Liverpool 1935
Ivar DAVIES (died) Bristol 1935

Both surnames can be found in the Awre censuses.

These enries were made a few months or so before he died in 1941. He was Vivian William MANN born in West Bengal, India in 1884.
He worked on the E.I.R. in Allahabad as did his father George Rueben MANN who left the FoD area around 1880. He had trained as a stone mason it seems. Has anyone a connection with others leaving the area to join the railways in India?
