I have found a William Ellis Head 1851 census born abt 1787 Walford, Herefordshire which could be a possible contender for his father on the on the original image I think there was an Elizabeth Ellis ? Head living next door on Ancestry but not certain as the transcription poor and I could not make it out.

Thank you for the 1851 census details as we have been unable to find them anywhere else on the census and wondered if they were living with either parents in another district. We only know that the family originated from the Forest of Dean area.

They appear on the census in 1871 in Trevethin prior to that I have found nothing. Unable to find a birth/Bap record for William or any information relating to his parents.
