You wanted to know the parents of the Beard children. In the absence of any other apparent sisters in the Elsmore family, we were looking for an Elizabeth Elsmore/Beard marriage. This one has popped up - Charles Beard to Elizabeth Aston Ellsmore in 1871. So a good contender?
