As per previous thread, the parents of Charles Brain 1869/1946 who married Amelia Meek 1874/1959 were John Brain 1832/1924 & Melinda Harris 1836/1921 then:
James Brain 1807/1886 & Mary Herbert 1809/1887 (my interest really ends with Mary Herbert (my half 1st cousin 4 times removed) but going back on the Brain line :
William Brain 1785/1849 & Beata Harris 1785/1859 (his second wife, the first being Jane Morgan 1773/1802-he married Beata 1 Jan 1807)then on Brain line :
William Brain 1751 & Mary Hayward then James Brain 1722 & Elizabeth Gardiner 1719, then Thomas Brain 1680/1746 & Ann Morgan 1685, then William Brain 1653 & Kathryn.

I would stress that these are my researches and any information back earlier than 1841 cannot be substantiated by census data and is of necessity subjective.
