As soon as I can put it together I'll post the tree information on the site.

There seems to be a mystery that my Great Grandfather John Roberts appears to have foresaken his family and left for Yorkshire when it would appear all the others stayed around to some extent.
Thomas seems to be the only one who stayed with his mother Sarah until she is then living with her daughter Sarah Evans (nee. Cook) both in 1881 and 1891.

John would have been 9 when his father Mark died of Fever according to his death certificate.

Searching For anything for Roberts family

My GG Grandfather John Roberts was born in Coleford in 1851 to Mark Roberts and Hannah Dobbs. Hannah was listed as Hannah Cook and as a widow on her marriage certificate to Mark.
Mark had possibly 3 brothers, John, Luke and Peregrine Roberts
Mark's parents were Peter Roberts and Mary or Maria Jones.
I believe that John had two sisters Ellen and Jesse and an older brother Thomas. The 4 of them also has a half sister Sarah Cook (Hannah's Daughter from her first marriage).

John Roberts moved to Yorkshire sometime between 1873 and 1881 as he and his family are listed in the Yorkshire census at that time.
His wife was Sarah Baugh. John an Sarah married in Cinderford in 1873
John's parents Mark and Hannah married in Penallt, Monmouthshire in 1838

If anyone has any information I would be very grateful, especially if any of the other siblings remained in the Forest of Dean area.
