<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Without cross-checking it is difficult to say, whether the christian name of the father would be different.</p>
<p>With William<strong> Joseph</strong> HOWELL (father of Harry HOWELL) - Think it isn't often the middle name of the father is on a marriage certificate - but as I said before, this needs checking out, it could just be a bit of confusion., and from the GloucestershireBDM records, William HOWELLS was registered without the middle name of Joseph.</p>

<p>Thanks again with reference to Joseph Reynolds born 1839 in Taynton -Workhouse and his mother was Mary.<br />
I found him lodging with a James Eskins in the 1861 census in Dymock, what would be great to know was where was he between 1839 and 1869..?He married Maria Swift in 1869.<br />
Joseph is my g g grandfather,<br />
