Henry JONES to Ellen BLANCH, widow and daughter of Anthony WINTLE.
On 26 November 1834 Stephen BLANCH married Helen WINTLE at Newland.
On 13 January 1842 Stephen BLANCH aged 36 buried at English Bicknor.
Baptism records for William and Amelia BLANCH indicate that they are children from Ellen's first marriage.

I am trying to trace the birth of my 2X Gt Granfather Henry Thomas Jones .You may think easy but with the name Jones !!!! Forest Of Dean HELPPPPPPPPP

I have the following so far on him

Marriage 1873 to Mary ann Dunmall St Pauls Church West Dean But is named asThomas Jones aged 22 His father is noted as Henry Jones (Blacksmith)
Also found him on
1901 Census
Henry T Jones aged 50 Correct

1891
Henry T Jones aged 40 Correct

1881
Henry T Jones aged 30 Correct
BUT
Cannot find on 1871
Cannot find on 1861

But on his daughters My Gt Grandmother) birth certificate he is recorded as
Thomas Jones
He is going sometimes as Henry and then Thomas
It seems that this should be an easy research BUT I am coming across lots of problms
I have tried tracing him on the 1851 Census but can only find 1 with a mother Ellen who is Widow
So therfore on his marriage certificate his father who signed Henry Jones is therefore not deceased !!!
I have tried looking on GRO 1850/51 Henry Thomas Jones LOADSssssssssssss

Dont know what to look for next
any help or advise would be graetfully received
